RTU with IEC 104 Protocol
MIDAAS RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) has versatile capabilities for electrical parameter monitoring and communication. RTU obtains all sought electrical parameters including Voltage, Current, Active & Reactive Power for 3Ph3W / 3Ph4W systems from the smart meters. RTU obtains Circuit Breaker and Sequence of Events status points (Double Command status points) and Isolator Status Points (Single Command Status Points) from the digital I/O module.
Both analog and digital communication interfaces enables accurate and reliable electrical measurement and communication. The RTU operates as IEC 104 Slave and communicates with the IEC 104 Master SCADA system through Ethernet Interface.
This RTU is available in DIN rail mounting.

RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) for providing real time power data to Load Dispatch Center. The RTU interfaces with IEC 60870-5-104 [IEC104] SCADA system. It provides Analog Parameters including MW, MVAR, Voltage and Frequency and Status points of Circuit breaker, Isolator, Sequence of Events(SOE) to Control Station. The RTU supports upto 10 Bays of an Electric Sub-Station.
IEC 60870-5-104 (IEC 104) protocol is an extension of IEC 101 protocol with the changes in transport, network, link & physical layer services to suit the complete network access. The standard uses an open TCP/IP interface to network to have connectivity.
